We started work as an informal group in August 2020. By July 2021, it was clear that there was sufficient enthusiasm to continue, and to formalise things.

For this purpose, we established a UK company limited by guarantee, noslegal Ltd, company number 1339502. We are funded by modest sponsorship from the organisations named on our home page. The company's principal role is to hold the IP generated in our work and to license it out on an open source basis. It also administers this website.
